Get involved

We're small, which means a single thoughtful contribution can shape a lot. Before anything else, please read our Charter and Code of Conduct.

Propose a project

Open a GitHub issue titled Project proposal: <name> and describe:

• the problem, and the people it affects;
• the approach you have in mind;
• the risks you can already see.

How a proposal becomes a project page is described in our PLAN.

Volunteer time or skills

Open an issue titled Volunteer: <your skill or interest>. Design, writing, translation, accessibility review, research, partner outreach, code — all welcome.

Partner with us

If you work for an NGO, research group, or community organization, open an issue titled Partner inquiry: <your org> or email us at the address on the Contact page.

We don't accept donations yet — we're not a registered legal entity, so we can't accept them properly. When that changes, we'll say so here.
